Bombers sign two more 2016 draft choices

WINNIPEG, MB., May 21, 2016 –  The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the signings of two of their selections from the 2016 CFL Draft. Offensive lineman Michael Couture (2nd round, 10th overall) and receiver Alex Vitt (seventh round, 55th overall) have signed contracts with the club.

Couture (6-4, 276, Simon Fraser, February 7, 1994 in Burnaby, B.C.) played four seasons at Simon Fraser, making 36 starts over that span. He showed great versatility during his career, spending time at four different positions on the offensive line.

Vitt (6-1, 205, Manitoba, April 12, 1991 in Winnipeg, MB.) led the Bisons in receiving as a senior with 728 yards and four touchdowns.  From 2013-2015, Vitt put up 1,315 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.
