Do you know an impactful youthful leader?

The Samantha Mason Friendship Award was created by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in memory of Samantha Mason, who was a victim of bullying at her school in Winnipeg. Nominate a young person who has taken action in their school or community to eliminate bullying by embracing the core values of our Canadian Centre for Child Protection/Blue Bombers Kindness Pledge:

• I have the power to make a difference. I will not be a bully or a bystander.
• I can help change the way others are treated in my school, my community and online.
• Everyone is worthy of friendship, support and respect, therefore, I will choose to share kindness and hope instead of hate and hurt.
• I have the power to change the story from hate to hope

APPLICATION CRITERIA

The selected nominees will be presented with the award at the Blue Bombers Playoff Game on November 4th or 11th (date TBD). Please note the nominee will need to be available to attend the Blue Bombers Home Game if selected as a recipient.
