Testimonials
“I have volunteered for the Bombers for almost 10 years now, I keep returning to this great organization because: Not only do Fan Ambassadors do a fantastic job at football games, we are also encouraged to help out in the community wherever and whenever we can to support diverse and worthy causes I see familiar faces return each year because everyone loves being a part of this volunteer community If you ever need assistance/have a question you always get an answer right away from Kelly, Jolene or Sharon! Volunteers are always made to feel respected and valued There is such a fantastic feeling of team/family working as a volunteer, area supervisors are always incredibly helpful and positive!” – Tracy Waugh-Smith – Plaza Football Toss
“Volunteering to me is very satisfying. I started volunteering for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers,/ Stadium during Fifa, Women’s world Cup. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to stay on for the Season. And now have decided to stay on another year. As a volunteer, I have the opportunity to help people, to be a blessing, when I volunteer, I don’t see it as, what can I get out of it – rather, what can I give? How can I make this a better experience for the Fans? Everyone needs a smile, a high five. We have an opportunity to represent our City, our Province, after all, we are Friendly Manitoba! I am so excited to be part of this wonderful experience once again. Do things always go as we hoped? No, but nobody is perfect. And it’s a huge responsibility to run this place. If we all do our part, things will only get better. The best is yet to come!” – Sarah – Gate 1 Supervisor
“As a Fan Ambassador, I belong to an incredible Team of people. We help create a Superior Fan Experience during the games and as well as in The Community.” Mary Ann – Upper West usher
