The Winnipeg Blue Bombers want every single fan to feel like an important part of the crowd.  Now, fans from the Deaf Community will feel more connected than ever before with the Polo Park Hearing Centre Closed Captioning Program.  At each home game, fans from the Deaf Community are provided with Closed Captioning, allowing them to take in the “sounds” of the game.

New for 2015, in an initiative endorsed by the Manitoba Deaf Association, fans taking advantage of the Closed Captioning service will enjoy a better experience as all Closed Captioning will now be available on handheld devices instead of on the stadium video boards.  Fans using the Closed Captioning service can either access it via the Blue Bomber app on their own personal smartphone, or if they don’t have a handheld device, the Winnipeg Football Club will have a supply of tablets that can be borrowed during the game.

Fans wishing to borrow a tablet to access closed captioning via the Blue Bomber App must contact Fan Services at least two business days before any home game.  Fan Services can be contacted by email at or by phone at 204-784-7420.
