Bombers Add Three To Roster

WINNIPEG, MB., January 23, 2017 –   The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has signed international receiver Ryan Lankford, and International defensive backs Keith Lewis and Jeremy Harris.

Lankford (6-0, 180, Illinois, December 9, 1991 in Jacksonville, FL) played four years with the Fighting Illini, hauling in 70 passes for 1,014 yards and four scores. After going undrafted, he spent time on the Colts and Dolphins practice squads, before signing with the Riders.  Last season he played in eight games with the Roughriders, catching 19 passes for 165 yards.

Lewis (6-1, 190, Virginia-Lynchberg, March 28, 1989 in Chicago, IL) most recently spent time on the Bombers practice roster last season. Lewis was the first player in Virginia-Lynchberg history to be invited to play in the Medal of Honor All-Star Game, and was also a part of the Nationals team at the College All-Star Game, both in 2014. He has spent time in camp with a number of NFL teams.

Harris (6-2, 195, New Mexico State, April 26, 1991 in Los Angeles, CA) was drafted in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Jaguars after two years at New Mexico State, where he racked up 83 tackles and an interception. Harris suited up for seven NFL games with the Jaguars and Redskins, and spent time on the Jets’ practice squad before making his way north of the border. He spent most of 2016 on the Lions’ practice roster.
