Clear bag policy in effect August 22

WINNIPEG, MB., August 19, 2019 –   – On Ice Entertainment and the Oakland Raiders would like to remind fans of the NFL Clear Bag Policy which will be in effect for the pre-season Week 3 NFL game at IG Field on August 22, 2019.

It is strongly encouraged that fans not bring any type of bags to the stadium, however fans will be permitted to carry the following style and size bag, package or container into the stadium:

  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”. Official NFL team logo clear plastic bags are available through club merchandise outlets or at nflshop.com.
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
  • Small clutch bags that are 4.5″ x 6.5″ with or without a handle or strap, may be carried into the stadium along with one of the clear bag options.
  • An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.

Prohibited items include but are not limited to: Purses larger than a small clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, seat cushions, strollers, computer bags and camera bags, diaper bags, or any bag larger than the permissible size. All bags that exceed the stadium’s bag policy must be either taken back to a vehicle, disposed of, or can be checked in. Gates open at 6:00 p.m., fans are encouraged to come early to ensure smooth entry into IG Field.

Additionally, a reminder that Blue Bombers or Valour FC season parking passes are not permissible for this event. Cash parking for $20 will be available in lots surrounding IG Field. The Park & Ride will, however, be in effect and buses will operate as they do on Blue Bombers game days. The tailgate area will be closed prior to the NFL pre-season game and entry to the stadium will be allowed through Gates 1-4 only.
