Bombers sign Marcus Rios and Kevin Anderson

WINNIPEG, MB., May 1, 2019 –  The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announce today the club has signed international defensive back Marcus Rios and international quarterback Kevin Anderson. 

Rios (6’0, 200, University of California, October 25, 1994 in Merced, CA.) played five seasons for the UCLA Bruins, totalling 84 tackles, two interceptions and two forced fumbles in 49 games played. In 2017, Rios signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent.

Anderson (6’2, 215, Fordham University, Boca Raton, FL.) attended the club’s mini-camp last week in Florida. He played four seasons for the Fordham Rams, completing 580 passes for 7,663 yards and 73 touchdowns. Anderson holds the record for most touchdown passes in the school’s history and ranks top ten all-time in career passing yards and completions. In 2018, Anderson spent time with the Orlando Apollos of the AAF.
