Bombers add Baldwin and Boynton

WINNIPEG, MB., April 8, 2019 –  The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announce today the club has signed international defensive backs Terrance Baldwin and Malik Boynton.

Baldwin (5-10, 180, West Liberty, June 1, 1996 in Tampa, FL) recently worked out for Bombers scouting staff in Florida, running 4.38/4.39. Baldwin spent four seasons at West Liberty as a corner, recording 131 solo tackles, 31 passes defended and one interception in 41 games.

Boynton (6-0, 190, Austin Peay State University, June 30 in Detroit, MI.) played four seasons for the Austin Peay Governors, tallying 158 total tackles, 11 pass deflections, three forced fumbles and one interception in 43 games played. In his senior year, Boynton was named team captain and led the Governors to an eight-win season. In 2018, Boynton spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Memphis Express of the AAF.
