WINNIPEG, MB., September 21, 2017 – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has signed International wide receiver Chris Givens to the practice roster.
Givens (6’0, 203, Wake Forest, December 6, 1989 in Jackson, MS) played four years in the NFL after being drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL draft. In 60 career games, Givens made 107 receptions for 1,779 yards and five touchdowns. Givens most recently spent time with the Baltimore Ravens in 2015, playing in 12 games and starting six, while recording 346 yards and one touchdown that season. Givens was released by the Philadelphia Eagles before the start of the 2016 NFL season.
