2023: Blue Bombers
Garbutt was added to the Blue Bombers practice roster on July 29, 2023 and dressed for one game — the regular-season finale in Calgary and a win over the Stampeders and recorded one tackle.
Pro/College:
Garbutt earned an invite to the Philadelphia Eagles rookie camp last May after an outstanding college career at Virginia Tech. He dressed for 44 games with the Hokies from 2018-22, registering 63 tackles and 12 sacks — including 6.5 in his senior season — while adding two fumble recoveries and four forced fumbles.
