2024: Blue Bombers
Charbonneau dressed for 12 games in his rookie season, making his pro debut in the home opener against the Montreal Alouettes. He contributed seven tackles on special teams.
He did not suit up for the Western Final, but did play in the 11th Grey Cup.
Pro/College:
The Blue Bombers selected Charbonneau in the eighth round, 71st overall, in the 2023 CFL Daft and then signed him to his first professional contract on May 5, 2023.
He attended training camp with the Blue Bombers in 2023 and returned to school for the fall. His final year with the GeeGees was sensational, as he was named a U Sports Second Team All Canadian after finishing fourth in the nation in tackles with 44, adding 3.5 tackles for a loss, one forced fumble, a fumble recover and a block.
