2023: Blue Bombers

The Blue Bombers signed Beeksma on July 4, 2023 and he appeared in three games before suffering a season-ending injury. He registered two tackles on special teams before being injured.

2022: Hamilton Tiger-Cats

Beeksma was selected by the Tiger-Cats in the fifth round, 46th overall, in the 2022 CFL Draft.
He suited up for six games in his rookie season, registering one tackle on defence and four more on special teams. He was also picked up by the Saskatchewan Roughriders following a July release by the Ticats, and then returned to Hamilton in August.

College:

Beeksma played 39 games over four seasons (2017-21) at the University of Guelph, recording 77 solo tackles, three sacks, one fumble recovery, three interceptions and six pass breakups.
