Division All-Stars

  • Jim McPherson (1952)

He Wore It Well:

Jim McPherson G, C, 1949-53

Jim McPherson’s story is one of dedication and time management. A superb athlete who was named all-city in both football and basketball during his days at St. Paul’s High school, McPherson would also be honoured for his academic work. That carried on during his days with the Bombers when he also attended medical school before receiving his M.D. degree in 1954. He was a West all-star in 1952. After retiring from the game, McPherson turned his attention to the medical field and would be appointed to the staff of the Mayo Clinic and later serve in numerous roles with the Mayo Foundation.
