  • Take breaks in shaded or cooled areas (marked on maps and signs)
  • Use free stadium water fountains to refill bottles

What You Can Bring:

  • One sealed plastic water bottle (up to 1L)
  • One empty reusable water bottle (1L or less)
  • Refill stations available at water fountains throughout the stadium

Def Leppard and Riley Green headline new summer stadium festival

Rockin’ Thunder and Country Thunder hit Princess Auto Stadium July 9 and 10 for the first stadium show in nearly eight years!
The Thunder Stadium Concert Series presented by Trans Canada Brewing Company (TCB) brings two days of incredible live music and unforgettable experiences to Princess Auto Stadium this summer with headliners Def Leppard on July 9 and Riley Green on July 10.

Rockin’ Thunder


Heralded as the world’s greatest live rock band, Def Leppard will bring an arsenal of hits to a spectacular stage show, joined by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, and the multi-platinum Foreigner, responsible for some of rock and roll’s most enduring anthems, including the worldwide No. 1 hit I Want To Know What Love Is. Canadian super group Toque will set the tone as the opening act and includes local ties with Winnipeg native Brent Fitz, formerly of Slash, at the drums.

Country Thunder


Country’s fastest rising star and Academy of Country Music’s 2020 New Male Artist of the Year, Riley Green will headline Country Thunder on July 10. Green’s chart-topping hits include the No. 1 Platinum hit There Was This Girl, three-time Platinum-certified heart-tugger I Wish Grandpas Never Died and Half of Me, a collaboration with Thomas Rhett. Supporting Green will be Tyler Hubbard who has 22 No.1 singles on country radio, countless awards, sold-out tours, and was one half of multi-platinum duo Florida Georgia Line as well as Nate Smith who, since bursting onto the scene a few short years ago, has accumulated over 1.6 billion streams, scored two No. 1 records Whiskey on You and World on Fire, and received numerous nominations for best new artist from the ACM Awards, CMT Awards, iHeart Radio Awards and more. Platinum-certified No. 1 songwriter, Canadian rising star, Madeline Merlo, will open the evening.

Park and ride starts at 4:30PM both nights and it is $5 Payable by Cash/Debit/Credit.
