Ross Smith

Ross Smith was a director with the Winnipeg Football Club from 1970-1991 and chaired numerous committees over those years. He was the club’s vice president and treasurer from 1975-77 and then the team president in 1978-79.
Smith was the President of the Canadian Football League in 1980 and has the distinction of being the last non-paid president of the league.
After his retirement from the club’s board of directors Smith was appointed to the team’s Honourary Council.
