2026: Blue Bombers
The Blue Bombers signed Nield to a two-year contract on the first official day of Canadian Football League free agency, February 10, 2026.
2025: Saskatchewan Roughriders
Nield signed as a free agent with the Roughriders in February of 2025 and posted career-best receiving totals in his one season in Saskatchewan, finishing with 42 receptions for 535 yards and five touchdowns in 13 games, including 10 receptions for 162 yards and one touchdown in three games against the Blue Bombers.
Nield scored the winning touchdown with 11 seconds remaining in Saskatchewan’s win over B.C. in the Western Final and in the 112th Grey Cup win in Winnipeg over the Montreal Alouettes had three catches for 46 yards.
2021-24: Toronto Argonauts
Nield was selected by the Argonauts in the fourth round, 30th overall, of the 2021 CFL Draft, Nield appeared in 41 games over four seasons in Toronto and was part of their Grey Cup championship teams in 2022 and 2024.
College:
Nield spent four years with the McMaster Marauders (2017-20) and was part of the school’s Yates Cup championship team in 2019, a year in which he earned Second Team OUA All-Star honours. He was also named to the OUA All-Rookie Team in 2017.
