2026: Blue Bombers
The Blue Bombers agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the veteran linebacker on February 10, 2026, returning him to where he began his CFL career in 2017.
Santos-Knox had been released by the Ottawa Redblacks on January 30, 2026 prior to the open of the CFL negotiation window. He enters 2026 as a veteran of 111 regular season games and has amassed 528 defensive tackles, 16 sacks, five interceptions and four forced fumbles.
2023-25: Ottawa Redblacks
Santos-Knox spent three seasons with Ottawa after signing as a free agent in February of 2023, and in 2025 had an exceptional season, finishing second on the club to Adarius Pickett in tackles with 80, adding an interception while being named the team’s Most Outstanding Defensive Player.
2021-22: Hamilton Tiger-Cats
Santos-Knox joined the Tiger-Cats as a free agent in February of 2021 and was in Hamilton for two seasons. He posted his best career statistical numbers in 2022 with 105 defensive tackles, a sack and an interception while being named the Tiger-Cats Most Outstanding Defensive Player and earning a spot on the East Division All-Star Team.
2019: Edmonton Eskimos
Santos-Knox signed with Edmonton in February of 2019 and appeared in just four games as he recovered from an injury, registering 13 defensive tackles and a sack.
2017-18: Blue Bombers
Santos-Knox was first signed by the Blue Bombers in 2017 after shining at a free agent camp in Charlotte, N.C. He appeared in 34 games over two years in his first stint with Winnipeg, registering 129 defensive tackles, 20 more on special teams, while adding eight sacks — including a career-high six in 2018 — along with two interceptions and three forced fumbles.
College:
Played four seasons at the University of Massachusetts (2012-15) where he appeared in 46 games, registering 338 total tackles, six quarterback sacks, two interceptions, five forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
