2024: Blue Bombers/Lions

The Blue Bombers added Dolegala to their practice roster on September 16, 2024.

Dolegala dressed for nine games with the Lions earlier this season, completing 15-of-26 passes for 158 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions while rushing once for five yards. He started once this season for B.C. in the club’s 33-16 loss to the Edmonton Elks on August 11th.

Dolegala has 11 career CFL starts — the other 10 with the Saskatchewan Roughriders — and has an overall record of  2-9 in those games. He has appeared in 24 CFL games and thrown for 2,968 yards on 246 completions for 12 touchdowns, while rushing for 112 yards and one touchdown.

2022-23: Saskatchewan Roughriders

Dolegala first signed with the Roughriders in 2022 and dressed for two games that season, making his first start against the Toronto Argonauts in Week Seven, throwing for 154 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

In 2023, Dolegala started the final nine games after both Trevor Harris and Mason Fine suffered injuries and finished the year completing 216-of-333 passes for 2,641 yards with 11 TDs against nine interceptions.

Pro/College:

Dolegala first turned pro in 2019, signing as an undrafted free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals and spending the year on the 53-man roster. He then had stints with the New England Patriots (2020-2021), Green Bay Packers (2021), and Miami Dolphins (2021).

Dolegala spent his four-year collegiate career (2015-2018) with Central Connecticut State University. Over that time, he would complete 654 passes for 8,129 yards and 48 touchdowns, finishing with a career passer rating of 126.5 while also rushing for 292 yards and 18 touchdowns. He left as the program’s all-time leader in passing yards and touchdowns and was the fifth quarterback in the Northeastern Conference to throw for over 8,000 yards in his career. In his senior season, he was a First Team All-Northwestern Conference selection.
