2026: Blue Bombers

The club re-signed Oyelola on June 8, 2026.

He signed with the Alpine Rams — a team based in Biel, Switzerland and completing in the American Football League of Europe — in March of 2026.

2025: Blue Bombers

The Blue Bombers signed Oyelola on September 3, 2025, returning him to the organization where he first turned pro as a third-round selection, 22nd overall, in the CFL’s 2021 Global Draft. Oyelola played in one game in 2021 as he was activated for the regular-season finale against Calgary on November 20th.

2022-24: Jacksonville Jaguars/Pittsburgh Steelers

Oyelola first caught the attention of the NFL in December of 2020 when he was one of 11 athletes from around the world who was selected to participate in the NFL International Player Pathway. He did not secure a contract and then spent 2021 with the Blue Bombers.

Following his season in Winnipeg he was again selected for the NFL’s international pathway, along with 13 other athletes, and was signed by Jacksonville. He was among the team’s final cuts in late August and spent the rest of the season on the team’s practice squad, as he did a year later before he was waived in April of 2024.

Oyelola was signed to a one-year contract by the Steelers in September of 2024 and was added to their practice squad before being released on January 11, 2025.

College

A product Essex in the United Kingdom, he studied law at Nottingham University. Oyelola is a converted running back who also played rugby and ran track for his country.
