Ken Houssin
Inducted: 2004
A lifelong Winnipegger and Blue Bombers fan, Houssin joined the team’s board of directors in 1988 and the organization immediately tapped into his financial acumen.
He became Vice-President of Finance in 1990, chairing the team’s finance committee and a year later, was part of the crew that helped bring the 1991 Grey Cup to Winnipeg, which was a financial success for the league and the team.
Houssin left the club’s executive in 1995, but very much remained involved with helping the team deal with its increasing debt due the lack of revenue coming from the CFL at the time. He was named an Honorary Life Member of the team in 1994 and served as the Chairman of the Winnipeg Football Club Endowment Trust Committee.
