Ken Davey, a Winnipeg product to attended St. John’s High School, was one of the first to implement the use of film footage for the use by the Bombers coaching staff.

A self-taught cinematographer who did contract work for local television stations, he filmed the Bombers Grey Cup win in 1935 and every football game that followed for 35 years and, for his efforts, was acclaimed as an important figure in the evolution of the game in this country.
