June 15, 2017 – The Goodman Family
The Goodman family are dedicated volunteers at Alpha House, a women’s shelter in Winnipeg. Jack, his wife Valerie, and daughter Karen have put in countless voluntary hours over many years to help alpha house support and help women and children. Thank you Goodman family.
July 7, 2017 – The LeRoux Family
Lindsay Leroux, accompanied by her family, was one of the six finalists for the Government of Canada’s Speakers Speech Writing Contest held in Ottawa to celebrate Canada 150. While in Ottawa, Lindsay placed first in her age category. Lindsay brought Blue Bombers pins to share with the other finalists as the LeRoux Family are proud Blue Bombers supporters. Congraulations LeRoux Family.
July 13, 2017 – The Cohen Family
Attending games for the past 42 years, the Cohen family are 3 generations of Blue Bombers fans. They have been season ticket members for 5 years, and all attended the 103rd Grey Cup here at Investors Group Field in 2015. The Cohen family are always out cheering on the Bombers at every game, no matter the weather. Congratulations Cohen Family.
July 27, 2017 – The Mortland Family
Scott and Gregory Mortland travelled all the way from Carlsbad, California to attend their first ever Bomber game tonight. The Mortlands were featured on bluebombers.com earlier this year when they pledged allegiance to the Bombers after the San Diego Chargers moved to Los Angeles. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are proud to say thank you to Scott and Gregory Mortland for your support, and for exemplifying what it means to be For The W.
August 17, 2017 – Major Genevieve Dessault and Lieutenant Colonel Perrault
Major Genevieve Dessault is a Long Range Patrol Air Combat Officer with 21 years of service in the Royal Canadian Air Force. SHe has flown the CP 140 Aurora on many operations overseas and in Canada. She coaches minor baseball and has been involved in International Women’s Day for the last 5 years. She currently occupies the Operation Flight Commander position while teaching young air force officers to become professional air combat system officers at 402 Squadron in Winnipeg.
Lieutenant Colonel Ian Perrault is a Long Range Patrol Air Combat Officer with 22 years of service in the Royal Canadian Air Force. With more than 2500 hous flying experience on the CP 140 Aurora aircraft, he has deployed on numerous operations around the globe. He coaches minor hockey and serves on a minor hockey association board. He currently works at the 1 Canadian Air Division in Winnipeg as a Senior Staff Officer.
Major Genevieve Dussault and Lieutenant Colonel Ian Perrault are proud parents of three wonderful boys: Elliot, Justin, and Ludovic.
September 9 – The Burns Family
Preston Burns has displayed incredible bravery over the past eight months. With countless trips to the hospital, Preston always has a smile on his face and showcases his outgoing personality. The Dream Factory would like to thank his doctors and nurses for the support they have shown throughout this difficult journey. Preston is planning his Dream Trip to Disney World for his 5th birthday, courtesy of The Dream Factory.

October 6, 2017 – the Nerbas Family
The Nerbas Family runs the Nerbas Bros. Angus farm in Shellmouth, Manitoba, consisting of 100 purebread and 500 commercial cows. Their goal is to work with nature as much as possible, and they plan to continue improving soil health, fertility, and productivity by improving processes. Their aim is to leave their land better than they found it. For their efforts, they have been named this year’s Manitoba Beef Producers Environmental Stewardship Award Recipients.
