“Being a Cultural Ambassador for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers helped me gain communication skills and pride in my cultures. Through this role, I learned how to speak with people from many different backgrounds and represent my communities in a way that helps these cultures. Being a Cultural Ambassador taught me how to be a leader, how to represent others, and how to step out of my comfort zone. I am more confident and comfortable to talk to people and large groups, a skill that is needed for this role.”
