THE BLUE BOMBERS KICK-OFF PROGRAM INTRODUCES CHILDREN TO FOOTBALL IN A SAFE AND FUN ENVIRONMENT. THIS FREE NON-CONTACT PROGRAM IS DESIGNED FOR CHILDREN AGES 4-8. THE PRIMARY FOCUS IS TO GET KIDS ACTIVE AND ENGAGED IN FOOTBALL BY LEARNING THE BASICS OF THE GAME.

Certified coaching staff lead the program utilizing a variety of football-related movements, activities, and skills. Kids participate in a series of fun drills that help them develop throwing, catching, and passing skills while helping improve their physical literacy.

Learning football at an early age can help promote an active lifestyle and build confidence. This initiative also helps parents understand more about the game and how the Winnipeg Football Club is working to grow youth football in our community. Registration for this program will open in Fall 2026.

• Pre-registration is required for this program. Registrants should arrive with indoor running shoes, gym clothes, and water – no other equipment needed.
• Parents accompanying children are welcome to stay and observe as spectators in the designated spectator area.
