Karl Slocomb spent years serving the Blue Bombers and Canadian football as an executive. He began as a member of the Bombers executive committee in 1940 and, later, was named the club’s president in 1953.
He became the president of the Western Interprovincial Rugby Union in 1956 and president of the Canadian Rugby Union in 1960. He also served as a trustee of the Schenley Football Awards from 1958 to 1966.
