Canadian Football League Releases 2021 Schedule

WINNIPEG, MB., November 12, 2020 – The Canadian Football League (CFL) is planning to return to play in 2021 with a full slate of games that kicks off in Winnipeg June 10th and concludes with the 108th Grey Cup in Hamilton on November 21.

The reigning Grey Cup champion Winnipeg Blue Bombers will kick off the 2021 regular season with a 107th Grey Cup rematch against the Tiger-Cats on Thursday, June 10th.

The 2021 calendar features three Thursday Night Football games and two Friday evening games as well as two additional West Division games. Starting with the Banjo Bowl, the Bombers will close out the season with four Saturday fall games.

After a Week 2 trip to Montreal, the Bombers face the Edmonton Football Team for a home and home series June 25th at IG Field and July 3rd at Brick Field. The team is then home for Week 5 to host the Montreal Alouettes July 8th for Thursday Night Football before the first bye week of the schedule. After a Week 7 trip to Calgary, the team returns home to host the BC Lions Friday, July 30th.

The Club kicks off the month of August with a trip to Ottawa, followed by a Week 10 bye and another trip East to Hamilton before returning to IG Field August 26th to host the Lions. September starts in Regina for the annual Labour Day Classic September 5th.

The Roughriders then visit Winnipeg for the highly anticipated Banjo Bowl on Saturday, September 11th at 3:00 p.m.
