Bombers Add Three to Roster

WINNIPEG, MB., January 22, 2020 – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has added running back Jordan Robinson and defensive ends David Kenney and Meffy Koloamatangi. All three players are American and finished the 2019 season on the club’s practice roster. 

Robinson (5-11, 185, Sacramento State, April 28, 1995, Torrance, CA) finished the 2019 season on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers practice roster. He played 10 games for the Eskimos finishing with 670 kickoff return yards. Robinson played four seasons at Sacramento State collecting a total of 2,823 rushing yards, the fourth-highest in Sacramento State history.

Kenney (6-2, 250, Illinois State, February 6, 1995, Indianapolis, IN) signed as a tryout player for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this past summer but was released on August 30, 2019. He finished the 2019 season on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers practice roster. Kenny played in seven games on the ISU roster and was credited with 11 tackles.

Koloamatangi (6-5, 240, Hawaii University, June 24, 1995, East Palo Alto, CA) played five games with the BC Lions this past season collecting three special teams tackles. Koloamatangi was named to the 2017 Polynesian College Football Player of the Year Watch List prior to the start of the season, finishing with 31 tackles, 6 tackles-for-loss and six quarterback hurries. He finished the 2019 season on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers practice roster.
