Bombers To Host Viewing Party for Raiders vs Packers game at The Forks

WINNIPEG, MB., August 19, 2019 –   The Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Oakland Raiders will host a viewing party at The Forks on Thursday, August 22, 2019 as the Raiders take on the Green Bay Packers at IG Field in a Week 3 pre-season NFL game.

The event is open to the public, with entrance granted to anyone making a donation (cash or food donation) to Winnipeg Harvest. Blue Bombers season ticket members wearing their lanyards will be granted free access as well as exclusive discounted pricing on beverages.

The viewing party will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at The Forks Festival Field and will include a jumbo screen live-streaming the game, three food vendors offering the best in tailgate BBQ, and a football toss station for kids. Beer and pop will also be available for purchase and a DJ will be playing music prior to kickoff and at halftime. Fans are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to watch the game from the Festival Field lawn.

The Oakland Raiders host the Green Bay Packers for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff at IG Field. Tickets are still available for purchase at ticketmaster.ca.
