Andrew Harris is living a dream suiting up for his hometown Winnipeg Blue Bombers and helping in the franchise’s chase of a coveted Grey Cup. But like a lot of Canadian kids, Harris grew up with visions of playing in the National Hockey League, and of hoisting the Stanley Cup high above his head.
Andrew Copp is living his dream too, suiting up for the Winnipeg Jets and helping in the franchise’s chase for a coveted Stanley Cup. But like a lot of American kids – he was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan – Copp grew up with visions of playing in the National Football League and hoisting the Lombardi Trophy high above his head.
The two Andrews met recently at Investors Group Field to chat about their love of both football and hockey… and to chuck around the ball a bit, too.
