Pork Button Strips

Yield: 2 lbs | Cook Time: 3 minutes | Serving Size: 2 of 1lb | Deep Fry Temperature: 350 F

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 lb Pork Buttons
  • 3 fl oz Soy Sauce
  • 2 oz Fresh Ginger grated
  • 2 oz Fresh Garlic minced
  • 4 oz Fresh Yellow Onions diced
  • 16 oz All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Seasoning Salt
  • 4 fl oz Thai Sweet Chili Sauce ( or any sauce of your choice)
  • 1 tsp Toasted Sesame Seed

 

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Make the marinade by blending the soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and onions together.
  2. Cut the Pork Button Ribs into manageable size about 4 “ in lenth which is a half of the actual lenght of the product.
  3. Put the Pork Button Ribs in a bowl along with the marinade.
  4. Mix it together very carefully making sure all the Pork Buttons are coated with the marinade.
  5. Let it marinade for at least 3 hours or even overnight for better results
  6. Pre heat Deep Fryer to 350 F
  7. Drain Pork Buttons and dridge it in flour.
  8. Make sure to shake off excess flour.
  9. Deep fry for 3 minutes or till golden brown in color.
  10. Drain excess oil and pour into a bowl
  11. Season Pork Buttons Immediately with seasoning salt(very important)
  12. Serve Pork Button Strips Crispy with a side of Thai Sweet Chili Sauce or Toss it in Thai Sweet Chili Sauce transfering onto a platter and a light sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds on top.
