Grilled Maui Ribs

Grilled Maui Ribs

Yield: 5 Pounds | Cook Time: 6 minutes | Serving Size: Five 1-lbs servings | Charbroiler temperature: 475 F – 525 F

INGREDIENTS:

  • 5 lb ribs
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 oz grated fresh ginger root
  • 2 Tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 Tbsp corn starch
  • 2 Tbsp canola oil

 

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Combine all ingredients except the ribs to make the marinade. Mix until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
  2. Place ribs in a container and pour the marinade over the ribs. Massage the ribs to make sure they are all coated evenly. Marinade for at least 3 hours or overnight in the fridge.
  3. Preheat the BBQ charbroiler to 475-525 F.
  4. Broil Maui ribs for about 3 minutes per each side, until grill marks appear and ribs are done to your liking.
  5. Let the ribs rest for 5 minutes before serving.
