WINNIPEG, MB., May 20, 2018 –  The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has signed international offensive lineman Dillon DeBoer and international defensive back Jordan Thomas.

DeBoer (6’6, 300, Florida Atlantic University, July 26, 1994 in Tarpon Springs, FL.) spent four seasons with the Florida Atlantic Owls and was a two-time USA All-Academic team selection. In 2017, DeBoer signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent.

Thomas (6’0, 185, Oklahoma, January 12, 1996 in Klein, TX.) played four seasons with the Oklahoma Sooners, recording 127 total tackles and 8 interceptions in 50 games played. In 2016, Thomas was a first-team All-Big 12 selection and his 17 pass breakups tied for third most in Sooner’s single-season history.

The team has also transferred receivers Chris Givens and Dominique Reed, and defensive back Eric Patterson to the suspended list, and retired defensive back Tharold Simon.
