Bombers Add Four

WINNIPEG, MB., May 16, 2018 – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the team has signed international running back Jhurell Pressley, International defensive back Mohammed Seisay and national running back Johnny Augustine.

Pressley (5’10, 205, University of New Mexico, May 20, 1992 in Newark, DE.) played four seasons with the University of New Mexico Lobos, rushing for 2,725 yards and 35 touchdowns. In 2014, Pressley led the nation with a 9.5 rushing yards per carry average, establishing a new Lobo record. Pressley signed as an undrafted free agent with the Minnesota Vikings in 2016.

Seisay (6’2, 202, University of Nebraska, May 22, 1990 in Springfield, VA) played two seasons with the Nebraska Huskers and was named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. In 2014, Seisay joined the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent, playing in 13 games that season, making five total tackles.

Augustine (5’9, 202, University of Guelph, July 7, 1993 in Welland, ON.) played five seasons with the Guelph Gryphons, rushing for 2,742 yards and 28 touchdowns on 483 rushes. In his senior year, Augustine rushed for 690 yards and nine touchdowns on 122 carries.

The team has also transferred defensive back Travis Howard to the retired list and released International defensive back Ezra Robinson.
