WINNIPEG, MB., August 11, 2017 – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers host the undefeated Edmonton Eskimos next Thursday, August 17th at Investors Group Field for the annual Military Appreciation Night. Great tickets are still available for Thursday’s game that will feature a double flyby of two Canadian Forces aircrafts immediately before and after the national anthem, and a special halftime performance by The Treble.

About the Military Appreciation Game:
The Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) partners with all CFL teams to enable fans to show support for the men and women who serve our country. To honour our military Thursday night, the 13th Man flag raising will be conducted by a veteran, and more than 300 active members of the CAF will be in attendance at next week’s game.

Team Canada Invictus Games veterans will also be holding the Canadian flag during the anthem, and military families will be honoured as the Community Heroes and the Family of the Game prior to kick-off.

The Treble Halftime Show:
In addition to Military Night features, The Treble will be performing as the halftime entertainment from one of the new viewing decks in the North end zone. The band will also perform on the new Blue & Gold Stage in the tailgate area pre-game.

The Treble recently opened for the Sam Roberts Band, and their new album, Modernaires, has surpassed half a million plays on Spotify.

CF-188 Hornet and CT-155 Hawk Flyby:
The flyby is a thrilling highlight of the partnership with the CAF. Thursday night’s game will feature a double flyby from two aircrafts, a CF-188 Hornet and CT-155 Hawk, before and after the national anthem (from north to south).
