Halfback, fullback: 1938-41
Andy Bieber was a two-time Grey Cup champion (1939 and 1941) when he left the club after the ’41 season to enlist with the Royal Winnipeg Rifles. A Winnipegger, he became a Major and later participated in the ‘Tea Bowl’ games between Canadian and American soldiers while serving overseas.
