No matter the league, no matter the age division, there’s nothing quite like holding a championship trophy aloft with your teammates.
PIT Football – the largest touch and flag football league in Canada – has wrapped up its Winter 2017 season and declared a long list of champions in each of their divisions.
Among the highlights were the Vincent Massey Trojans (Grade 10) defeating the Vincent Massey Trojans (Grade 11) 22-20 in overtime to win the High School Division 1 Flag Football title, and PIT Football Academy edging The School of Football 31-27 in the High School Division 2 Flag Football Division.
In all, the PIT crowned champions in 28 different divisions (see below) including former Bomber president Jim Bell quarterbacking The Knights to a title in Division 1.
