WINNIPEG, MB., July 24, 2016 – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the addition of International defensive back Chris Greenwood to the practice roster.
Greenwood (6-1, 197, Albion College, July 10, 1989 in Detroit, MI) was drafted in the 5th round of the 2012 NFL draft by Detroit. In 2013, he split time between the Lions’ practice squad and active roster, suiting up for three games. He spent the 2014 season on the Vikings’ practice roster. In three seasons at Albion, Greenwood picked off 13 passes, and in 2011, was named MIAA Defensive Player of the Year.
