WINNIPEG, MB – On Sunday, April 17, nearly 500 local youth football players will take part in the Blue Bombers Futures Flag Football Skills Camp in partnership with Football Manitoba at Investors Group Field.
Flag football players ages 7-17 will go through a series of football-specific drills that develop and refine fundamental skills including throwing, agility, and flag pulling (tackling). There will be six sessions throughout the day, each one lasting 70 minutes beginning at 9:00 a.m. Blue Bomber players, certified coaches and Bison players will be leading the on-field sessions.
The Blue Bombers Futures program is committed to supporting and growing amateur football in Winnipeg through skills camps, coaches clinics, and high school mentorship programs.
