The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has signed International receiver Darvin Adams. Adams has spent the past two seasons with the Toronto Argonauts.
Adams (6-3, 182, Auburn, January 5, 1990 in Carlton, Mississippi) played in ten games with Toronto in 2014, starting eight. He recorded 18 receptions for 237 yards and one touchdown.
He spent three years at Auburn and was a key component to their offensive attack led by Cam Newton. Adams set a SEC Championship game record in 2010, recording 217 yards on seven receptions, with two touchdowns. He started in the BCS Championship game vs Oregon, recording four receptions for 54 yards that same season.
