Blue Bombers Mourn The Passing Of Peter Ribbins

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have would like to express their condolences to the family of former Blue Bomber receiver/defensive back Peter Ribbins who passed away on December 12th due to complications of Parkinson’s disease at the age of 63.

Ribbins played for Winnipeg from 1971-1976 and once held the Blue Bomber record for most interceptions in one game with four.  He lived in the Cayman Islands with his wife and their three children and was President of the Cayman Water Company after retiring from his football career.
