A new, state-of-the-art sound system will provide auditory excitement to match the exciting game action on the field. Fans will also be treated to a new and improved video system that will provide faster replays from more camera angles on the Canad Inns Stadium Jumbotron.
Those are just two of a host of improvements planned for the stadium this season in anticipation of the 2006 Grey Cup. The visitors’ dressing room has already been completely refurbished with new lockers and other amenities. As well, the stadium concourse and stands have been painted to provide fans with more vibrant surroundings.
As an added treat, David Ogron, better known as the World’s Fastest Golfer, will be performing at half-time of next week’s Bomber game. Ogron has performed on CBS’s Late Show with David Letterman as well as various NFL, MLB and NBA events to raise money for pediatric cancer. He once hit 1,000 golf balls in a 30-minute period.
