Jarvis Jones began his college career with LSU in 2007, backing up at both left tackle and right guard as the Tigers went on to win the ’07 National Championship. Jones then transferred to the University of Oklahoma where NCAA rules forced him to redshirt in 2008 before being eligible to play in 2009. Jones’ efforts earned him an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention by AP that year; he saw action in nine games before suffering a season-ending heel injury. Jones rotated at left tackle in 2010, starting four games (including the last three of the season), and was a backup on the OL for five games in 2011.
