2012 (BC): Muamba enjoyed a breakout season in his third year in the league, starting 17 regular season games at safety as well as the West Final. He became a solid contributor on defence finishing the year ranked sixth on the team with 41 defensive tackles while also adding nine special teams tackles, two interceptions, one forced fumble and three pass knockdowns. Both of his interceptions were recorded on Aug 19/12 against the Saskatchewan Roughriders and he was named the CFL's Canadian Player of the Week for his efforts.
2011 (BC): Muamba stepped into a key role with the Lions in just his second CFL season as he saw action in 16 regular season games, including three starts at safety. He recorded five defensive tackles and added another 10 on special teams and was also in the lineup for the West Final and 99th Grey Cup. Muamba recorded his first career interception on Sep 2/11 against the Toronto Argonauts.
2010 (BC): After being selected by the BC Lions in the fifth round (34th overall) of the 2010 CFL Draft, Muamba spent much of his rookie season on the practice roster. He was activated for the final stretch run into the playoffs and contributed in three games on special teams and his strong play earned him a spot on the active roster for the West Semi-Final against Saskatchewan.
Grey Cup Championship: 2011 (BC)
St. Francis Xavier X-Men (CIS): Muamba appeared in 28 career games for the X-Men as a defensive back and kick returner. In 2009, he notched 24 tackles, three sacks and one interception while also chipping in on special teams, returning two punts for 33 yards and four kickoffs for 75 yards.
