The Flight Crew Volunteer program, sponsored by Tim Horton’s, has evolved from its modest beginnings into an extremely organized group of eager individuals who provide essential services to the Blue Bomber Organization. Members of the Flight Crew assist with game days, concert, amateur
football games, office administration work and community relation initiatives. Each position is essential to our fan experience in the stadium and within the community and every volunteer brings a variety of skills that are an integral part of ensuring our game days run smooth from start to finish.
The Flight Crew’s mission is to encourage a positive experience for our fans in the stadium and community by providing courteous, knowledgeable, and professional customer service through direct and indirect communications.
The Flight Crew team offers a variety of positions to choose from during the season and in the off season as well. On game days we need help ticket scanning, ushering and attending the parking lots. We also require volunteers for concerts, amateur events, office administrative duties and assisting other organizations with community relation projects.
Must be able to commit to volunteer at:
• Minimum of five Blue Bomber home games
• One Community Relation Event
• One Office Administrative Task
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers recognize that a volunteers time is valuable. We like show our appreciation by acknowledging the hard work and commitment that individuals dedicate to our organization. Volunteer incentives include, but are not limited to:
• Blue Bomber Game Day Tickets
• Discounts to the Blue Bomber Store
• Autographed Merchandise
• Gift Cards to the Blue Bomber Store
• Gift Cards to Tim Hortons
• Personalized photos appearing on the Jumbotron
“What I like about volunteering with the Blue Bombers is the sheer atmosphere. The amazing feeling you get when you walk through those volunteer gates, walk to your post, see the players warm up and see all the happy faces of people as they enter the stadium. Seeing other people happy and making their time at the stadium as good as it can be is what I like about it, helping others and the amazing feeling of helping out your hometown team. I like everything that volunteering has to offer. It is Awesome!” Saxon - Spare
“This will be my second year as a volunteer, and it won't be the last. Volunteering for the "Flight Crew" makes me feel like part of the Blue Bombers.” Alex - Parking Lot Attendant
“I have volunteered for over 7 years. What better way to spend a beautiful summer night, then cheering on the home - team. The excitement in the stands, Win or Lose....echoes, throughout the city until the next game.... Go Big Blue!!!” Darlene - Alumni Lounge
“Volunteering gives you a front row seat to the excitement and energy of ‘game day’.” Brad - Shuttle Cart Driver
“I felt privileged to be a part of a team that I admire and respect. Whether with the game days to the various events that took place last year, a sense of unity is formed through out all aspects of the Bomber's that you become even more proud to help put with something you truly believe in. For me I could give my all, as the player's do every game, that makes it worth a lot.” Lora Lynne - Gate 3 Ticket Scanner
