Investors Group Field Facts
Investors Group Field’s canopies—while giving the cutting-edge stadium its distinctive look—provides excellent cover from rain and snow, also sheltering patrons from the sun.
The stadiums arch trusses supporting the 8 acres of roof are the largest and highest in Canada spanning 190 meters approximately 200 feet in the air.
Many sections of the arch truss weigh over 200 tons and require two 300 ton cranes to lift into place at 98% of their capacity.
There are 9000 tons of steel, 28,000 cubic meters of concrete, 3500 sections of hollow main floor, 450 pieces of precast bleachers, 272,000 blocks, 8 acres of room, 33,500 seats expandable to 40,000 for major events, including Grey Cup and other major international events and concerts.
Half of Investors Group Field contains a basement for locker rooms and a commissary.
The playing surface at Investors Group Field will be FieldTurf Revolution
There is field turf in the east planter parking area, the stripe match the yard markers on the main field. There are 10 first down markers in this turf to commemorate the 10 Grey Cup wins.
Investors Group Field has a sunken bowl design, where the playing field dips into the ground 25 feet below the main concourse.
Over 400,000 hours have been executed in a very short period of time.

Investors Group Field
1. Will there be a family section at Investors Group Field?
There will be designated family areas in sections 116,117,118,119,120&121 (Section 118 is Alcohol Prohibited); these sections can be viewed by going to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers website and visiting the Virtual Venue by clicking here.

2. Will there be a Student Section at Investors Group Field and will the student discount apply?
There are going to be a variety of price points that will suit our fans needs and a number of different options. Sections 138,139,140,141,142 & 143 are expected to have the same game day experience as Section S and are priced accordingly.

3. Will there be youth pricing available at Investors Group Field and where will that pricing apply to?
Our Family Sections are located in Section 116,117,118,119,120&121. These sections have been specifically designed to provide a comfortable game day experience for our younger patrons and families. We will be offering special youth pricing for fans 15 years old and under purchased together with an adult season ticket, the price level will be P7 our stadiums lowest price point.

4. Will a non-alcohol seating area be available at Investors Group Field?
Investors Group Field will feature a non-alcohol section; it is located in Section 118 as part of the designated Family Section.

5. Will there be wheelchair accessible seats in 2013?
There will be excellent accessible seats available on both the 100 and 200 levels in the new stadium. We are very pleased to offer about 100 more wheelchair spaces than we currently have, for a total of 216 spaces.

6. How do I know what Investors Group Field will be like?
We have created a 3D Virtual Venue which allows you to explore the new stadium using your computer. You can select a wide variety of camera angles in all sections, and pan around Investors Group Field for a view that will truly make you feel like you are at Investors Group Field. 7. What type of seats will there be at Investors Group Field?
There are three different style of seats depending on the area of the stadium; plush theatre style seating, padded seats and general stadium seating.

8. What kind of leg room will there be at Investors Group Field?
The rows are currently set on a 33” on centre which will allow more leg room than what is currently found at Canad Inns Stadium.

9. Will there be handrails?
There will be handrails on all the stairways to ensure safety for all our fans.

10. Will there be cup holders?
There will be cup holders available on all seats.

11. Will there be elevators and or escalators to assist in the movement of fans?
There will be elevators to help assist fans to move throughout Investors Group Field.

12. Where will the washrooms be and will there be family washrooms?
The new facility will have washrooms on each side of the facility on each level, the main concourse, suite level and upper concourse. All of the washrooms will be wheelchair accessible. There will be more washrooms than the current facility – in fact, 45% more than the current stadium. There will be 28 washrooms in all, evenly distributed between the east and west side of the stadium. The washrooms will be evenly split between men’s and women’s – 14 each.

13. What type and where are the concessions located at Investors Group Field?
There will be a wide variety of concession services available to meet our fans variety of tastes and pricing by Ovations Food Services.

14. What type of retail area will there be for fans on game day as well as during the year.
There is one large retail store that will be open year round for our fans. In addition during game days we will have four retail walkups on different levels for the convenience of our fans.
