You’re invited to join us for the 2018 Junior Cheer Team Clinics at Investors Group Field! Junior Cheer Team participants will be coached in dance and stunting by our very own Blue Bombers Cheer and Dance Team. Children between the ages of 10 and 18 are welcome to join. The Junior Cheer Team will perform their new skills in the halftime show or on the sidelines at a Winnipeg Blue Bombers home game. A discounted fee will be available for those signing up for both clinics.

FAQ:

When does the Sideline Performance Cheer Clinic open for registration?

Once the dates are selected for the sideline performance cheer clinic, all participants who are registered for the Halftime performance will receive an email with information on how to register for the sideline performance if interested.

Why is the Sideline Performance Cheer Clinic recommended for experienced athletes?

The performances on the sideline will be longer (two quarters/one half of the game) and stamina will be required. They will be learning more advanced stunts that are regularly performed on the sidelines. The kickoff time of the game is also later, which may be problematic for younger athletes.

What kind of credentials do the BBCDT have to teach children cheerleading and stunts?

Between the BBCDT coaches and the Team Managers, there will be many coaches who are certified between Level 4 and Level 6 in cheerleading. Our Stunt/Cheer Coach is certified in Level 6. Our Team Managers have been on the Manitoba Cheerleading Federation board and are certified judges. The stunts will be determined when experience of all of the attendees is assessed before the clinic.

What do my fees go towards?

You receive two tickets (one for the athlete, one for a parent/spectator) to the game in the lower bowl of the stadium, and your child will receive a t-shirt, poms, lunch and instruction from our cheer team. Plus, they will receive an UNFORGETTABLE experience performing at Investors Group Field in front of thousands of supportive blue & gold fans! The Junior Cheer Clinic is a fundraiser for our Blue Bomber Cheer & Dance Team to cover team expenses, including the annual trip to the Grey Cup.

When do I get my tickets?

You will receive an e-mail AFTER your initial confirmation e-mail with the details of your promo code to be used on the Ticketmaster site for redemption. You will be contacted directly with this info. Should you have any questions, please e-mail community@bluebombers.com
