The 2016 Winnipeg Blue Bombers Coaches Clinic will take place at Investors Group Field on June 10-12th. The clinic is for amateur football coaches looking to become certified in Football Canada’s Community Coach, Introduction to Competition (Position Coach), and/or Safe Contact modules. *Please read all information below.
As part of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ ongoing commitment to supporting amateur football through the Blue Bombers Futures initiative, the Bombers will cover the registration fee for the first 50 coaches who apply for Introduction to Competition and Community Novice Coach modules. The Safe Contact will not be covered by the Bombers.
Coaches Clinic Schedule
All sessions take place at Investors Group Field. Parking is available in the Bomber Store parking lot.
Friday, June 10th: Introduction to Competition (position coach) – 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 11th: Introduction to Competition (position coach) – 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 11th: Community Novice Coach – 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, June 12th: Safe Contact Module – 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
To register, visit The Locker and log on using your NCCP number or email. If you do not have your NCCP number or password, you can reset it or request the information. If your email address has changed since your account was created, please email technical@footballmanitoba.com to request assistance.
In order to complete your training, you will also need to complete the online module, Making Headway in Sport, which can be found at The Locker. To find this module, click the ELearning Tab once you log on.
To Register for the Clinic:
- Go to The Locker
- Log in to your account using your NCCP number or email
- Click “calendar” in the menu option
- Select “June” in the month field
- Click “2016 Blue Bombers Coaches Clinic”
- Click the link that appears on the right side of the calendar
- Proceed to “register”
