Winnipeg Blue Bomber fans have a lot to be excited for next season as the CFL unveiled its schedule for the 2012 season.
The Blue Bombers kick off their season in a rematch of last year’s Grey Cup championship in Vancouver against the BC Lions on Friday, June 29th. The team will play four road games to start the season and will return home on Thursday, July 26th when they will face the Edmonton Eskimos.
In all, the Blue Bombers home schedule will feature three Friday night games, two Thursday night games, three Saturday games and the Manitoba Lotteries Banjo Bowl on Sunday, September 9th against the archrival Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Other dates to circle on the calendar are Friday, August 24th when the Lions come to Winnipeg for the first time since defeating the Blue Bombers in the Grey Cup, along with Friday, August 3rd and the regular season finale on Saturday, November 3rd both against the Montreal Alouettes.
