Reg Threlfall

Reg Threlfall was the sixth coach in the history of the Winnipeg Football Club and one of the most successful. Threlfall, nicknamed the ‘Demon Coacher’ back in his day, took over the Bombers in 1938 and over the next four years posted an impressive 28-8 regular season record while guiding the team to five Grey Cup appearances, winning in 1939 and 1941. His .778 winning percentage tops all Bomber coaches.
