Neville Winograd

A Winnipeg dentist, Neville Winograd began serving with the football club in 1956 and 1957 as a member of the quarterback club. He was named a director in 1958 and remained active on the team’s board until 1993 when he was named to the honourary council. He served as a member of the club’s executive committee from 1960-71 and was the team’s president in 1964 and 1965. Winograd was also the president of the Western Football Conference in 1968 and president of the CFL in 1970 and played an active role in the establishment of the constitution of today’s CFL.
